FLOWERS have been laid at the entrance to a North Yorkshire community centre in memory of a teenager who died in a road accident.
Marie Stebbings, of Carlton Husthwaite, died last Friday when her motorbike collided with a tractor near Thirsk.
Tributes have been laid to 16-year-old Marie at the entrance to the Galtres Centre in Easingwold.
Her funeral is due to be held on Friday, in Carlton Husthwaite Parish Church.
Meanwhile, John Milburn, of Stillington, near Easingwold, is said to be "stable and recovering" in York District Hospital.
Seventeen year old John crashed his Citroen AX and rolled it into a ditch between Crayke and Stillington on Monday night.
Phil Robinson, landlord of the White Bear pub in Stillington where John used to work, said today: "He is very well liked, a wonderful personality."
