Wanted: The bloody-minded business men and women of York.
Solicitors' practice Ware & Kay is trying to organise a mass corporate blood-letting by inviting business people all over the city to donate blood to the National Blood Transfusion Service
But before the service can agree to sending its mobile transfusion transporter to Ware & Kay's headquarters at Sentinel House, Peasholme Green, York, it needs an assurance that at least 70 will volunteer.
David Tysall, York's head of marketing for the solicitors' practice, said: "I'm ranging for blood - and it would be great to know that the same juices that drive the people who have created the best business city in Britain will be infused in others! As Response Marketing, I'm already heavily involved in blood one way or another. I have one customer, Maco Pharma, which supplies plasma containers to hospitals for whom I have published logoed post-it notes in the shape of blood bags."
Volunteers should email Response Marketing at info@response-marketing.co.uk
