RYEDALE craftsmen are being invited to join the search for Yorkshire's best dry-stone wall builder.
The county's branch of the Country Land and business Association is offering a glass challenge trophy for the best wall built over the last two years, or recently. Marks are awarded for style landscape impact, tidiness of the site and difficulty of the terrain said a CLA spokesman.
The closing date for entries in the end of June. Application forms can be obtained by ringing the association's regional office at Easingwold (01347 823803).
