Hello folks, I'm back! It's Evening Press here.

After a long winter break with my hooves up watching the magic of Tony McCoy over the jumps, I can't wait to get the saddle on my back again.

It was great to finally get a run-out at the Malton gallops to show my adoring public what I can do, but now I want to get back out with my pals on the track.

And you can forget the football World Cup - especially as my good friends Geoff Horse-field and Donkey Adams won't be there. It is my reappearance on the racecourse that will be grabbing the headlines.

That date could be sooner than you think as my trainer Tim Etherington, who has ensured I have kept off the Mars bars and in good shape over the colder months, has pencilled me in for a nine-furlong race at Carlisle on Monday.

A lot of things still have to looked at as to whether I make my debut for the season there.

The state of the ground will be the key factor.

The conditions will have to be good to fast as I can't concentrate properly when I get mud between my hooves on the softer trips.

If the going isn't right then I could be in for a trip to the seaside town of Redcar for a one and threequarter mile maiden handicap contest on June 4 - but this could mean me missing the potential classic of South Korea v Poland in the World Cup!

Alternatively, I could be saved for the following day's evening meeting at Beverley, in a mile-and-a-half handicap event.

Although those races are over the longer distance, Tim is confident in my ability and so am I - and I know where my money will be!

Regards,

Evening Press.
