A SHOP window display to celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee is proving a real eye-catcher.
Shoppers have been doing a double-take as they pass The Clothes Line store, in Tadcaster's High Street, and some of them have even taken photographs.
The focus of all the rubber-necking is a mannequin dressed as Her Majesty by shop owners Angela Mullaney and Cath Evans.
The mother and daughter are taking part in a Golden Jubilee window dressing competition organised by Tadcaster Chamber of Trade.
They made arms and hands and wired them on to the torso so the Queen could do her famous Royal wave - and used a rubber mask stuffed with paper for her face and head.
Mrs Mullaney then dressed the Queen in her own wedding dress, with the familiar blue sash over the top, together with pearls, earrings and handbag.
Union Jack flags and red and white streamers surround the mannequin.
Mrs Mullaney said: "I'm a Royalist and we decided to go to town a bit.
"It took us almost a day to make it and it's created a lot of interest.
"People have been taking photographs and complimenting us. We've only had one person who said they didn't like it."
