York RUFC's youth section came away from Twickenham with there heads held high after some impressive displays in the prestigious Prudential Cup.
The Under-12s flew the flag brilliantly for the Clifton Park club as they finished with a share of the title.
Despite drawing 5-5 in the semi-finals against Market Bosworth, the York boys went through to the final courtesy of a better scoring record in the qualifying tournament at Nottingham.
In the final, played before the kick-off of the England v Barbarians clash, York were held to another draw by Cobham to earn a share of the cup.
The Under-10s could not quite match the achievements of the older club colleagues, as they went out at the semi-final stage to Old Fullerians.
The youngster played their hearts out but they found Fullerians - the eventual winners of the U10s' crown - just too good.
The Evening Press hopes to publish pictures of the York boys' trip to Twickenham later this week.
