Stamford Bridge II overwhelmed Cawood in division six of Hunters the Estate Agent York and District Senior League.

It was their third win and, like their senior squad, they top the table with an unbeaten record.

Graham Flint (64), Dave King (66) and Matt Beckett (53 not out) enabled Stamford Bridge to reach 252 for five.

Miles Taylor took five for 113 and then made top score (25) in Cawood's 64 as Andy Parkinson took three for 25, King three for 19 and Beckett three for two.

George Drewery hit an unbeaten 103 as he and Darryn Gray (57 not out) took Londesbrough Park to a ten wicket victory at Heslington.

Bob Taylor (53), Lee Bolton (62 not out) and Adam Dixon (39 not out) had helped Heslington to 185 for two, but Park won easily in a game which saw only two wickets fall while 372 runs were scored.

Stillington won by one wicket at Wilberfoss when 18-year-old Darren Powell hit the last ball for six.

James Crawford made 68 as Wilberfoss reached 176 for seven. Chris Manson (45) and Mick Carr (51) made a century opening stand for Stillington, reaching 118 before Carr was out.

Nick Guyan took four for 37 and Tom Peters three for 58 and Stillington's last man came in with his side on 173 for nine.

Powell, recently transferred from Easingwold, became the hero when he hit the final delivery for six.
