SCHOOL leavers in Ryedale with one or two A-levels or equivalent, are being offered the chance to earn £10,000 a year as they study to become the managers of tomorrow's horticultural industry under a new scheme.
Recruits to the newly- formed Horticultural Academy will pay no course fees, need incur no student debt, and will be paid to travel in Europe or the United States as part of their training, said Ken Turner of the Horticultural Trades Association.
