DOWN are billed as "rock's premier underground supergroup" - isn't that a bit of a contradiction in terms?
If the title alludes to spring cleaning the music scene (or anything else), who is the May Queen?
The band contains members of Pantera, Corrosion of Conformity, Crowbar and Eye Hate God, and together they make a more than passable bridge between the death metal genre (such as Pantera) and today's nu metal.
Spot on musically, but I can't bring myself to like it, which I do feel bad about.
I could cope with the opening track, Lysergik Funeral Procession, which was mercifully short although definitely not sweet, but after a while it all started to wash over me.
