THIS is the face of the knifeman who tried to steal a woman's bag in a terrifying daylight attack in a York car park.
Detectives today released this e-fit image of the would-be mugger who was foiled when the 44-year-old victim, from Selby, fought him off after he confronted her in the Peel Street car park, by George Street.The incident happened on Sunday, May 26, at 2.15pm.
The attacker was described as white, 5ft 6in to 5ft 8ins tall, aged in his mid to late twenties and fat with dark brown, spiky hair, a dark moustache and pale complexion. He was wearing gold-rimmed spectacles, with oblong-shaped lenses and was dressed in a donkey jacket, black trousers or jeans and black trainer-type shoes.
