I WAS horrified to read of the "partygoers" who had removed four harlequin figures, worth £200 each, from the Sunflower Masquerade Ball held at the Racecourse (May 27). I saw them being taken from the third floor, and before the ball had ended! £800 would go a long way at St Leonard's Hospice.
Do they realise the amount of time and work that goes into running a hospice and raising funds by both staff and volunteers?
The Hospice is there for the whole community - perhaps these people could bear this in mind.
