CABARET and film sensation Marlene Dietrich dropped into the Yorkshire Air Museum to perform to RAF officers.
Jane Stabler, who is appearing as Marlene in York Theatre Royal's production of Piaf, wooed officers with her singing, just as the screen siren once did during her heyday.
Dietrich and Edith Piaf became friends as the two took the United States by storm in the early 20th century.
Piaf is the gritty tale of the singer's
journey from the gutter to stardom.
It runs at York Theatre Royal until June 22.
Jane is pictured sitting pretty at the Yorkshire Air Museum with volunteer Jonathan Elsworth.
