Geraldine Rees, who enjoyed her biggest training success when Proud Boast won the Gosforth Park Cup at Newcastle last Friday night, can make it back to the winners' circle at her local Haydock track tomorrow.

The Preston-based handler is represented by Baby Barry in the Caledonia Wigan Handicap over six furlongs and I fancy Tony Culhane's mount to be in top form.

Baby Barry gave notice that her winning turn is near when at Doncaster last Saturday she finished second to Full Spate, who franked that form by winning at Hamilton yesterday.

Tomorrow promises to be Baby Barry's turn to enjoy the limelight.

Basinet should not be overlooked in the Caledonia Blackburn Handicap.

John Quinn's charge made a promising return to action at Beverley last week when finishing fourth in a fairly competitive handicap. With that outing under his belt, the four-year-old should go close tomorrow in the hands of experienced apprentice Darren Williams.

Raised The Bar, who justified favouritism at Warwick 12 days ago, has every chance of following-up in the Caledonia Bolton Fillies' Handicap.

Kevin Darley's mount came from a long way back to win by half a length from Raybaan over a mile-and-a-quarter.

If anything, tomorrow's extra two furlongs should suit Raised The Bar even better and she gets my Nap vote.

Mark Johnston, trainer of Raised The Bar, can also make his mark at Chepstow with the in-form Decoy.

The three-year-old goes for a third win in four starts in the Letheby & Christopher Handicap with Keith Dalgleish in the saddle.

Schematic deserves support in the Pimms Claiming Stakes. Although not the most straightforward of horses, Mark Brisbourne's two-year-old is not without ability, as he showed when winning a seller in good style at Musselburgh 10 days ago. He can win again.

Love Appeal will not be short of supporters in the Knight Frank & Morgan Cole Fillies' Stakes.

John Dunlop's three-year-old has shaped well on both her outings to date and looks capable of winning a race of this nature. Love Appeal is fancied to make it third time lucky tomorrow.

Following a three-year-old in form at this time of the year is a 'must' for backers and Orinocovsky merits support in the Gamble Kitchen Rental Handicap. Paul Cole's recent winner has a 6lb penalty to carry here, but it may not be enough to spoil a double chance.
