MAIR'S Delicatessen in Heworth Village, York, is a unique little shop, which over looks the splendid parish church.
I have witnessed this splendid shop's development and what a little winner it has proved to be. They sell just that "something different" from all over the world, and some very excellent items too.
The produce is all very fresh, you are spoilt for choice. I have never seen such a variety of breads for example.
Clients are always served with cheerfulness and nothing is too much trouble. Who needs Fortnum and Mason?
