York rowing sensation Sarah Whitwell showed her class as she stepped up an age group to taste success in the St Neots Regatta.
Whitwell, who has excelled in the J15 Double Fin this season, teamed up with Newark Rowing Club team-mate Jenny Collins for the J16 Double Sculls.
And despite Whitwell stepping up a year and Collins just recovering from glandular fever, they put in a mature display to power to victory.
The pair finished ahead of City of York duo Jenny Addison and Freya Porteous by two lengths.
