THANK God for John Batchelor and his dream of building a football club of which York can be proud.
The city council must accommodate him because this will bring additional jobs and revenue to the city and the club with which to improve the team.
Let's not live in the past. Look at what the Riverside has done for Middlesbrough FC and how Hull City Council has worked with their football club in partnership to build a new stadium away from Boothferry Park.
Offer York people value for money and they will flock in their thousands to watch their team play.
Here's to a man with a vision.
