UNDER-fire bosses at strike-hit Arriva Trains Northern could make a new pay offer to some of its staff tomorrow, it was revealed.
Stan Herschel, regional organiser of the Rail, Maritime and Transport Union (RMT), said he will attend a meeting in York where he will receive a "restructuring" document for station and retail grade members.
Station and retail grade members - who include ticket office and administration staff - have been in dispute with ATN over pay and conditions since March. Representatives from ATN were meeting station and retail staff representatives in York today, along with members of the conductors' company council. Mr Herschel said: "For station and retail grades, I have been called to a meeting where I will be given a document for restructuring (of pay and conditions)."
An ATN spokesman said the company was awaiting the outcome of today's meetings before talking further.
