ACCORDING to Greenpeace's own figures, only three per cent of carbon dioxide emitted into the atmosphere each year is man-made. The other 97 per cent is caused by plants, oceans, animals, not forgetting the sun itself. What contributes to ten per cent of the world's methane emissions? Rice fields!
It's a shame that these facts are not often featured in climate debates.
