The York Cycleworks elite road race over 70 miles powers into action with a field of 60 top-class riders on Monday, August 26.
The event starts at 10am and is expected to finish around 1pm near the village of Bulmer. There will be a strong team from the Compensation Insurance Group, including last year's winner Mark Lovatt, currently the country's number one elite rider. He used the race last year in preparation for a strong showing in the world road race championships in Portugal.
There will also be strong Cottingham team, sponsored by Pete Dunn, and the field features evergreen professional Chris Young from Otley.
