Yorkshire Under-13s and Under-15s schools' cricket teams both emerged triumphant in the Lord's Taverners inter-schools' semi-finals and finals at Oundle School over the weekend.
After overcoming Wales in the semi-finals the U15s then beat Surrey in the final by 26 runs, while the U13s defeated Somerset and then beat Essex by 93 runs. Scores: Yorkshire U15s, 209 for four, Surrey 183; Yorkshire U13s, 235 for five, Essex 142 for eight.
