A CALENDAR produced by York printers Wood and Richardson Ltd for Great North Eastern Railways (GNER) has won the Communicators in Business Award of Excellence.
The GNER calendar was one of more than 900 submissions from organisations all over Europe and the Haxby Road firm got top honours in the Skills In Design category.
Organised by Communicators In Business to recognise excellence in business and public sector communications, the win for Wood and Richardson was announced at an award ceremony at Brighton's Grand Hotel.
Its brief from GNER was to design a corporate calendar which would convey the rail company's reputation for high standards of customer service.
Sue Wade, internal communications and employee adviser at GNER said: "Wood and Richardson provided us with a first-class service and we would not hesitate to use them again in the future."
