SEVEN people were taken to hospital after a collision involving these three cars on the A19 near Selby.
A police spokesman said that two ambulances took the casualties to Pontefract General Infirmary, but it was believed that none of the injuries was serious.
The accident happened at noon yesterday between Burn Bridge and the junction of the A19 with Henwick Hall Lane, near Burn. The three cars involved were a VW Golf, believed to be travelling south towards Doncaster, and a Vauxhall Astra and a Ford Ka, believed to be travelling in the opposite direction.
The A19 was blocked for about 90 minutes and traffic in Selby town centre was diverted along the A63 Leeds Road and Mill Lane, Brayton.
