Huntington were dismissed for less than 100 against Huby and their defeat saw them slip to their lowest-ever position in the York League with relegation from division four.

Huntington's batsmen had no answer to Paul Moore (6-19) in an all out score of 98. Tom Piercy spearheaded the reply with 42no, while Darren Howell (28) helped to counter Wally Baynes' 3-32.

Pickering head the table after a six-wicket win at Acomb.

The hosts were dismissed for 88 - Dave Tute hitting 51 of them - by Ian Johnson (4-25) and Andrew Grayson (3-16), then R W Aconley (35) and K R Aconley (25no) took Pickering to victory.

Bolton Percy maintained their title bid with a two-wicket win at Selby, a result which leaves the home club facing the prospect of having both their teams relegated.

Selby made 164-9 through Ian Lake (70) and Phil Jolly (39no) although the first-half plaudits went to Chris Hill (7-53).

Chris Dye hit back for Selby with 4-30, but Peter Houseman made 37, Mark Worrall 33, Mike Furze 33 and Richard Douthwaite 31no in a good team effort by Bolton.

Osbaldwick need points from their final game to be sure of staying up. Matt Dunne took 3-32 but Alan Robinson made 70 and Richard Graves 48no as Easingwold made 153-5. Gavin Rees took 3-28 as Osbaldwick fell for 85.

Bottom-placed Dringhouses made it a great day for their club by bag-ging 30 points at Dunnington with their best display of the season.

Daniel Snaith (94) missed out on a ton but his effort, added to Dave Todd's 37, helped 'Houses to 202-7. Todd then completed a satisfactory day by capturing 6-45 as Dunning-ton were all out for 186, runs coming from Gary Andrew (34), Jonathan Wordsworth (30), 12-year-old Jonathan Bairstow (26) and Dudley Cooper (23no).

A one-sided derby at Sheriff Hut-ton saw the hosts inflict a 110-run defeat on Sheriff Hutton Bridge.

Richard Armitage hit 35 out of the Castlemen's first 41 runs then Ben Tompkins (34) and Peter Carr (31) added 60 for the fourth wicket before Tony Hull (20) lifted the total to 162-9. Dave Ellis and Dave Houldridge each took three wickets for Bridge, whose batsmen failed to cope with Paul Evans, whose 6-28 had them all out for just 52.
