WHEN we voted for the Common Market people didn't really know what we were voting for.

Now we know after 40 years that it means one state, one currency, one passport. But what will happen when these Eastern European countries join?

All these asylum seekers now are being stopped, who are from Eastern Europe. But when they get in the EC they will have a right to come here and we cannot stop them.

This over-crowded country will be swamped with them. Asylum seekers are a bad dream for us. But the nightmare is a couple of years ago. I wonder if our MPs and people who run the country think ahead about these matters.
