Tim Easterby, who has such a wonderful record on Knavesmire, is the man to follow at York's third Evening Press Sunday Raceday tomorrow.

The Great Habton trainer has won the opening Maxiprint Nursery Handicap in each of the last two years with My American Beauty and Travelling Times, and a hat-trick is expected to be on the cards tomorrow.

Easterby saddles Bollin Jeannie in the six-furlongs dash, and this well-regarded filly is napped to prevail.

After two respectable placed efforts in defeat, Bollin Jeannie made it third-time-lucky at Thirsk last month over five furlongs.

Tomorrow's longer distance will suit her in her first handicap and she looks favourably weighted to take advantage in the hands of smart apprentice David Allan.

Bollin Jeannie is a daughter of Bollin Joanne, who provided Easterby with his first Group-race success on Knavesmire in the Duke Of York Stakes in 1998.

Whether such lofty heights await Bollin Jeannie one day remains to be seen, but she is a filly of some potential and she is strongly fancied to come out on top tomorrow, with Masterpoint the most likely rival to chase her home.

Easterby also has strong claims with Style Dancer in the highly-competitive Flat Roof Company Handicap over a mile, but the gelding has drawn a wide stall, which will count against him, so instead the vote goes to Polish Off.

Ralph Beckett's charge was beaten only two necks into third place by Timeless Chick at Brighton last time. He merits another chance here.

In the feature race, the £25,000 Polo Smoothies Rated Handicap over one and three-quarter miles, it would be unwise to overlook the claims of Indian Solitaire.

Formerly trained by Amanda Perratt, and now with Richard Fahey, the three-year-old shaped well on his debut for his new handler in a handicap here at the August meeting when finishing seventh to Spectrometer.

Indian Solitaire has an extra two-and-a-half furlongs to travel tomorrow and is worthy of attention.

Fahey, who won the John Smith's Cup on Knavesmire in July with Vintage Premium, also has a fancied runner in the Smith Brothers Maiden Auction Stakes over six furlongs in the shape of Riska King. The two-year-old showed up well to finish fourth to the speedy Catmint on his latest outing at Ripon.

Omaha City should go well for David Nicholls in the Crystal Windows Claiming Stakes, while the same trainer has a fighting chance with the in-form Chapel Royale in the wide-open Monks Cross Shopping Park Quintin Gilbey Handicap.

Kevin Darley will be aiming to register at least one winner in front of his local crowd and the Sheriff Hutton jockey may have to wait until the final race, where Darley teams-up with Tenaja Trail in the Wundercars Maiden Stakes.

The York theme is continued in the feature race at Kempton, the Sirenia Stakes, though Membership, who finished third in last month's Gimcrack Stakes on Knavesmire.
