THE York and District Football League representative side hammered their Red Triangle League counterparts 5-0 at York RI's New Lane ground.
Brent Terry (Pocklington) hit a hat-trick, while Neil Ducey (Dringhouses) and Dave Chandler (Dunnington) also got on the scoresheet.
Manager Bill Pearce said: "It was 4-0 at half-time and although we took our foot of the pedal we were never in danger.
"Some of the passing movements were superb, and it was a pleasure to watch them in the first half."
The York team even had to contend with the fact nine of the initial squad pulled out. Pearce added: "We have to thank Nellie Sanderson, the manager of Dringhouses, who supplied four players to the squad at late notice.
"The whole squad did well, in particular Diddy Allinson, Mikey Murr and Brent Terry. The way they played they deserve more coverage than York City."
The team's next outing is against Yorkshire Old Boys at RI next month.
York and District FL: Silburn, Mole, Harrison, Gargett, Raynor, Allinson, Scoreby, Chandler, Murr, Lake, Terry. Subs (all used): Ratcliffe, Ducey, J Gaughan, Pooley.
