Wigginton Grasshoppers became the first team to take a point off Reserve A champions Dringhouses as they held them to a 0-0 draw.

Second-placed Malton Bacon Factory went down 3-2 at home to Dunnington despite holding a 1-0 lead at half-time, thanks to a Jamie Ward goal. Ben Small equalised for Dunnington but Nicky Ives restored Factory's lead only to see Small equalise again and Tony Downing hit the winner 15 minutes from the end.

Paul Milner put Old Malton into the lead against Osbaldwick on the stroke of half-time and bagged another after the break but goals from Steve Jackson and Mark Crangle ensured parity.

St John's College won 4-1 at home to Huntington, who have yet to gain a point in this season's campaign.

Mike Horsfield scored the only goal of the first half for the students and was followed by second half goals from Paul Thompson, Matt Moore and Jamie Wilkinson. Ben Lanford scored a consolation for Huntington.

Of the five games in Reserve B three ended all-square with only Haxby and Riccall recording wins.

Haxby were 6-3 winners at home to Barmby Moor although they were losing 2-1 at half time. Adrian Stancer and an own goal put the visitors in the first half driving seat and despite John Pinder adding another to their tally they were outscored in the second half with goals from Paul Jacobs (2), Philip Benson, Danny Grainger, Dave Cruddas and Mike Taylor.

Riccall also counted an own goal in their tally as they won 4-2 at home to Rufforth. Paul Shah headed them into the lead in the 20th minute but Simon Peacock equalised before the break. Damon Scott restored Riccall's lead ten minutes into the second half and Shah bagged his second. Peacock also netted his second for Rufforth but an own goal five minutes from time finally killed the Rufforth rally.

Jonathan Siddle (penalty) and Gareth Wood put Wigginton Black Horse 2-1 up in the first half at Poppleton, with Jamie Agnew the Poppleton target man. Charlie Jackson managed a Poppleton equaliser ten minutes before the end.

League newcomers Hamilton Panthers and Thorpe United remain unbeaten in Reserve C.

The former thrashed Huby 5-0 with goals from Mark Moore (2), Chris Sparks, Jamie Dawe and Steve Scott.

Thorpe had an equally impressive win at Norton Utd.

Mick Tiplady helped himself to a hat-trick, Adam Garner bagged two and Andy Haig one as they won 6-1. Norton's reply was from Stuart Ellis.
