POTTERS, sculptors and painters who attended a York art school in the 1960s enjoyed had a chance to reminisce at a reunion over the weekend.
Former members of the York Art School, who attended when the school was based in Exhibition Square, travelled to the event from as far afield as Canada, Sweden, Spain and Bahrain.
They swapped memories and old photographs at a drinks party at the Minster Hotel.
Co-organiser Pauline Taylor, from Ellerton, said: "It was brilliant to get together. All the hard work was well worth it.
"The 1960s were a very innovative time - we were all hippies in those days."
