YORK MP Hugh Bayley was put through his paces by sixth form students from Bootham School and The Mount.
Mr Bayley visited Bootham School yesterday afternoon for pupils from the two Quaker schools to ask him questions on a range of issues.
He also talked about what life was like for a constituency Member of Parliament at Westminster.
Last time he visited the school was on the same day as the world-changing events in the USA on September 11 last year.
Head teacher Ian Small said: "The visit came as at a critical time politically with talk of war with Iraq.
"The last time Hugh Bayley visited us was on September 11. So as you can imagine there are interesting parallels to be drawn."
