POLICE searching for missing York schoolgirl Georgina North say they are becoming "increasingly concerned" about her safety.
The 15-year-old went missing from her home in Bell Farm Avenue, on October 4, and although there have been a number of reported sightings, including one by a police officer, none have been confirmed.
Sergeant Jon Martin, of York Police, said: "We think she's still in York and we have tried a number of addresses, but with no joy. She's been missing for such a long time, and her parents are so worried, as are we. We are a little concerned that we haven't seen her even though her picture has been in the press."
Georgina is 5ft 5in tall and of slim build. She has an olive complexion, brown eyes, very long, dark hair and wears a brace on her teeth. She was last seen wearing a denim jacket and platform boots.
Anyone with information should phone York Police on 01904 631321 and ask for the duty sergeant.
