A penalty stroke appeal was turned down near the end and the resulting short corner was put just wide from Kerry Rafton. Sally Kelsey and Danielle Courtine both had excellent games for Acomb.

After two defeats Acomb Ladies II got their season underway with a hard fought 2-0 win against Leeds II. Watson and Wallin scored for Acomb.

St Johns Ladies I's game against Huddersfield I was postponed.
