In division three, Alan Stevens starred in a 6-3 win at Burton which put Yearsley into top spot while Brian Mallan-David Blease wrapped up a 5-4 success for Ship at Bay Horse 'B'.

Winning Post made heavy work of defeating Little John, while Fulford Arms ran away with all the pairs against Indoor Bowls.

Sue Lacy checked double 20 for 100 finish but Shepherd 'B' failed to overturn Severus who went on to win 6-3 in York John Smith's Ladies League division two.

Linda Embleton checked bull for 71 finish to give Clifton 'B' a 4-2 advantage. Leeman 'A' team's Jackie Gray and Tracey Yeomans hit back but Clifton won 6-3.

Sybil Chilton partnered Julia McKie to give Woolpack a 5-4 win at Reindeer, while Vaults' meeting with Mount went to the wire which saw the two Anne's, Keswick and Lewis, secure the win for Vaults.
