AM I the only viewer who finds some adverts on television so obtuse that the object of the advertisement is difficult to decipher?

One concerns a girl who warbles about made of glue and is holding up a stagecoach. She appears to be advertising a car, though the make eludes me.

Another is of the gentleman, walking at the side of a field, muttering about shoes, a monkey and a pig and turns out to be advertising a bank.

No doubt the admen will say that because I have taken notice they have done their job.

However, they only make me reach for the "off" button.
