SCARBOROUGH entertain Yorkshire neighbours Doncaster in a game which both sides could be forgiven for dismissing as an irrelevance as they look for League status again.
But, coach Mark Patterson values the competition as it gives his side a chance to measure their progress against a side near the top of the Conference.
"We want a good Cup run. It is a good competition with a showpiece final and if we can get by Doncaster, we could have the chance to pit ourselves against League opposition."
Scarborough thought that their lengthy injury list had worsened when Paul Shepherd left the Forest Green game on Saturday with a neck injury. However the whiplash-type injury has settled down and he will be available - as will leading scorer Keith Scott who was missing at the weekend due to suspension.
Karl Rose is also available after recovering from a groin strain and Nicky Henry is close to a recall. Scott Jordan misses out with his back problem
Scarborough: Woods, Cryan, Dryden, Hotte, Shepherd, Stoker, Brassart, Ormerod, Pounder, Fatokun, Campbell, Scott, Walker, Blunt, Henry, Sillah
