AS edifices go, it is not quite in the class of the pyramid at Giza, one of the only wonders of the ancient world to survive. That is made of six million tonnes of granite and limestone.
But the Pyramid Gatehouse at Castle Howard has a mad charm all of its own. Not to mention 20,000 sq feet of commercially exploitable floorspace.
It will be interesting to see which companies take the chance to move into such a unique corporate headquarters.
Whoever chooses to do business from the gatehouse will bring a new meaning to the term pyramid selling.
