A TEN-YEAR-OLD girl was heartbroken when she lost a beloved toy on a visit to York.
Ellie Davies has issued a plea to people in the city to help her be reunited with Eddie the Hedgehog, a soft toy she has had since she was six months old.
Eddie is a Country Companion toy, about nine inches tall with a pale yellow suit. He was last seen near the toilets in Parliament Street on Wednesday, October 23.
Ellie's mother, Judy, said that Eddie, which usually went everywhere with Ellie was "terribly missed." The family, which lives in Warrington, even travelled back to York the following Saturday in an attempt to trace the toy, but were unsuccessful.
Anyone who has seen Eddie or knows where he is now should contact Judy Davies on 01925 262383.
