FLU jabs will again be provided at a York supermarket after a recent pilot project saw the vaccinations vanish in double-quick time.
Late last month more than 140 Asda customers queued up at the Monks Cross store to snap up the cut-price jabs, leaving store staff "amazed" by the project's success.
Store manager Paul Williamson said: "We never expected the level of interest we received. We have customers asking us every day when we will be running the jabs again."
Asda Monks Cross will provide its second cut-price jab service this Saturday, from 9am to 2pm, in the foyer. Jabs must be paid for at the check-outs, then taken to the nurse to be processed.
