THE mini-exodus of players leaving Bootham Crescent looks set to continue this week with midfielder Aidan O'Kane poised for a move to the east coast.

O'Kane will tomorrow link up with Scarborough, training with the Seasiders over the next ten days while Boro boss Russell Slade determines whether to make a permanent move for the young Irishman.

O'Kane (pictured right) joined City from Irish side Cliftonville in summer 2001 but failed to hold down a regular place in the first team last season.

This season, the left-sided player, 22, has made just one appearance in the senior squad and that was as an unused substitute in last month's LDV Vans Trophy game at Lincoln.

Manager Terry Dolan, who has also seen Mike Basham and Russ Howarth leave the club in the last week, said: "Aidan's contract is up at the end of the season and if he has the opportunity to go somewhere else before then I don't want to stand in his way.

"He is going to train with them and we will see what develops."

The Evening Press understands O'Kane's availability has also attracted the interest of Conference outfit Woking.

Dolan has confirmed on-loan Sunderland striker Michael Reddy will join Chris Brass, Jon Parkin and winger Lee Cook on the sidelines when City entertain Swansea in the FA Cup on November 16.

Sunderland have blocked Reddy from playing in the cup, as have Watford with Cook.

Parkin and Brass will both sit out the match through suspension.
