Due to a spate of injuries Pocklington down-graded their scheduled games and put out a mixed XV against Driffield 'A'.
On the day they were little match for the more experienced Driffield side, and further injuries saw them playing most of the second half with a front row forward at scrum half.
Not surprisingly Driffield took full advantage and ran out comfortable 64-0 winners.
Selby 'A' went a try-score better walloping West Leeds 'A' 69-0.
Winger Chris Abbishaw began the rout with a brace of tries which were followed in the first-half by a double from Jim Nicholson and one touchdown apiece for full-back Will Jordan and hooker Shane Sellars. Toby Pemberton kicked three conversions for a 36-0 interval lead.
After the break Mark Rollinson bagged his debut try in Selby colours.
Centre Martin Prothero crossed the whitewash twice and there was time for a try for Dave Batty, who also tagged on four conversions.
