PUPILS at a York dance school had good reason to jump for joy.
The youngsters at the Isobel Dunn school have helped to raise £1,000 for Martin House Hospice for children and young people, at Boston Spa.
The money came from ticket sales to the dance school's annual fundraising dance extravaganza Dance Flash, performed at the Grand Opera House, York, in May. Pupils aged between three and 78 took part in the show, which was in aid of the hospice's teenage unit for the second year running.
"It's nice for the children to raise money for children," said Ms Dunn.
