THE next phase of York's technological revolution is underway. Work has started on a £5.5 million expansion at the Science Park.
The development will create more than a thousand jobs and attract millions of pounds into the city.
This is a timely boost to York's economic morale at a time when other business sectors are in the dumps.
It is also fitting that the news comes on the day we report on Professor Tony Robards' OBE.
As much as any one person, the energetic and visionary Professor Robards has made York a Science City.
His recognition is well deserved.
