PREPARE to be thrilled and chilled in equal measure.
Lovebox is a timely return to form for Groove Armada, who were simply to cool for their own good on the hip-hop inspired last album, Goodbye Country, Hello Nightclub.
Reverting back to a winning formula honed on their cracking debut, Vertigo, laid-back duo Tom Findlay and Andy Cato dip their toes into a range of dance styles and get the temperature just right. From the party-hard beats of the recent single, Purple Haze, to the atmospheric piano-led Remember, this is a delightful record. Neneh Cherry is the pick of several well-chosen collaborations, giving her best vocal for years on Think Twice, which will warm the hardest of hearts.
Richie Havens is not far behind on gorgeous soul track Hands Of Time. Lovebox boasts at least eight potential singles. The groove is back on!
