IT might be full steam ahead on the cup front for Harrogate Railway, but the Station View outfit will have to return to the bread and butter of the Northern Counties East League premier division tomorrow.

The media spotlight is currently shining bright on the club after their FA Cup exploits were rewarded with a glamour second round tie against Second Division high-fliers Bristol City - as well as £66,500 in prize money and £100,000 from Sky to show the game live.

But the Railwaymen have yet to be beaten in any cup competition this season, as they have progressed safely - if not always smoothly - through the early rounds of both the FA Vase, the NCE League Cup and the NCE President's Cup.

However, while the players and staff are still buzzing over their knockout success this season, boss Paul Marshall will have to bring them back down to earth for their league trip to Liversedge.

With Rail's lack of league activity - they have played just ten matches - leaving them in the relegation zone, a win is vital tomorrow.

"It's relegation form - ten points from ten games - but there isn't a manager in the NCEL who would not swap with me," said Marshall.

"It is difficult to bring the players down, but we went to Arnold in the League Cup, went 3-0 down and the players didn't like it, so they went and banged in six goals.

"Everyone is now vying for positions, especially with the Bristol City game coming up."

Marshall will take a 16-man squad to Clayborn with only Shaun Constable missing out through suspension.

Pickering Town also face a must-win NCEL premier match.

The Pikes, third bottom, are below Arnold on goal difference only and victory could lift them four places.

Steve Brown said: "This is a massive game for us. We need the three points to move us up the table.

"Arnold are down at the bottom but I've heard varying reports about them. They seem to be a Jeykll and Hyde team."

Selby Town face an uphill battle as they attempt to halt the run of premier division leaders Goole.

The Vikings currently lead the way by four points, although close rivals Brigg and Bridlington have games in hand.

Tadcaster Albion also face one of the NCEL leading lights, albeit in division one, when they travel to Winterton Rangers.

Taddy broke their duck in their last match a fortnight ago with a 2-1 win over Staveley and Wayne Day's men will look to capitalise on third-placed Winterton's recent downturn in fortunes.

Harrogate Town will look to continue their promising UniBond League form at home to Worksop.

Having finally turned the corner after a disappointing run, John Reed's men have advanced to 16th.

Hull City's Clayton Donaldson, on work experience at Wetherby Road, will be keen to add to his tally after an impressive start for the club.
