BEARING in mind the number of public houses, restaurants, factories etc that developers keep looking at to build houses on, taking away city amenities and jobs, now is the time for City of York Council's planning department to publicly state that no planning permission will be forthcoming to build houses on such properties or pieces of land.
I know that this will not happen, but one can always hope.
