Sleeve: Front cover features Bowie's face; the clever thing is that the parts of his face are all taken from previous album covers. Very artistic, as usual with Bowie sleeves.
Sleevenotes: No, only track listings but there are some excellent pictures.
Content: High quality, with all his main hits featured on 2 CDs boasting 39 tracks in chronological order to present day.
High point: Ziggy Stardust, when Bowie was at his best.
Low point: Dancing In the Street. Never liked this track and why does Mick Jagger feature on the best of Bowie?
Any glaring omissions?: The Laughing Gnome yet again, while Little Drummer Boy could have added to festive spirit.
Anything new?: Bad news for that dedicated Bowie fan who likes to own everything: there are 23 different versions worldwide to collect. Costly!
Justified or feeble excuse for release?: Another good Best Of to add to all the others.
Ideal Christmas present for: The thirty-something in your life.
