REGARDING the latest phone mast protest, (December 4), I keep asking a question that no one is prepared to answer: do the protesters, all or some of them, have a mobile phone?
I don't know if phones or their masts cause health problems, and I admit to having a phone. However, if the protestors have phones, where do they want the masts to be sited? These phones won't work without masts, and they need to be placed for optimum performance.
Could it be that everyone wants phones, but expects the masts to be in someone else's backyard so they can enjoy modern communications while someone else pays the price with ill health?
