CAN'T something be done about fireworks?
After two restless nights, I mercifully fell asleep one recent Friday night only to be awakened half an hour later by the explosions of three "bangers"'!
I got up and took a pill and once more was awakened just before 2am by another three "'bangers".
I spent the rest of the night devising methods of torture for the culprits, in anticipation of there being repeat performances on the Saturday and Sunday.
