"This is who we are and nothing's going to change us," Sum 41 frontman Bizzy D sings on Thanks For Nothing.
He is clearly a man of his word. The "if it isn't broke don't fix it" philosophy has been followed to the letter on this latest offering from the platinum-selling Canadian punksters.
It works up to a point as angry, powerful punk songs with deliciously catchy choruses are the Sum 41 stock in trade. Unfortunately it is nowhere near as good as All Killer No Filler, which taught a new generation of teenagers to spike their hair and spit.
At times the songs are painfully similar but highlights are The Hell Song, Still Waiting and the ridiculously energetic Over My Head.
The bonus DVD is worth checking out for the In Too Deep and Fat Lip videos, both great fun.
