LEGENDARY rock guitarist Gary Moore returns from a bout of the blues to his roots and, like the title of the album, he bares his soul and his towering talents with something a few riffs short of a musical masterpiece.
This is gut-wrenching, twisted rock with take-no-prisoners lyrics and he happily shares top billing with ex-Skunk Anansie bassist Cass Lewis and Primal Scream's precision drummer, Darrin Mooney. Blended together, as Jools Holland says about a certain whisky, they slip down a treat.
Moore, who has been around since the Sixties and featured in bands such as Thin Lizzy, Colosseum II and Skid Row, is back on rock-steady ground after recent forays into blues. Marvel at the lead guitarist's numbers such as When The Sun Goes Down, Stand Up and World Of Confusion from this ten-track CD.
Give us Moore!
