YOUNG York City defender Graeme Law is on the verge of leaping into the Scottish Under-21s squad.
Copmanthorpe-based Law, who played four times for Scotland U19s in their failed European Championship qualifying campaign this season, has been included in a 14-strong standby squad for the U21 set-up's week-long trip to Portugal.
City's youth team are in action tomorrow, when they entertain Darlington at the club's training ground in the Youth Alliance North East Conference, kick-off 11am.
After a defeat, a draw and a postponement, the City juniors will be looking to savour their first win in four weeks.
City's game against Shrewsbury, postponed from January 4 will be played on Tuesday, February 11.
